# Quick Start

SK5Data Unlimited Residential Proxies (Bandwidth) offer **unlimited traffic throughout the plan's validity period**, with bandwidth usage based on your selected plan. They are ideal for high-volume traffic, large-scale data collection, and continuously running tasks.

### Before You Start

* **Unlimited Traffic:** No traffic volume limits during the plan's validity period. Data transfer speeds are subject to the bandwidth limits of your plan.
* **Independent Plans:** Multiple plans can be assigned to different tasks, with each plan's bandwidth managed independently.
* **Flexible Sessions:** Supports both rotating and sticky sessions. You can choose to rotate IP addresses or maintain the same IP for a specified duration.

### Use Cases

* **Large-Scale Web Scraping:** Continuously collect publicly available web pages, product information, and other data.
* **E-commerce Price & Inventory Monitoring:** Regularly track prices, promotions, and inventory changes.
* **SEO Monitoring:** Collect search results from different regions and track keyword rankings and competitor activity.
* **Ad Verification:** Check ad visibility and page content across different regions.
* **AI Data Collection:** Collect public text and web content for dataset development and knowledge base updates.

#### Choose an Authentication Method

**Username & Password Authentication**

Connect using a proxy username and password. Ideal for browsers, proxy tools, and script-based configurations.

**IP Whitelist Authentication**

Add the public IP address of your device to the whitelist. Ideal for servers or applications with a fixed public IP address.

#### **Get Started**

On the usage page, select the plan you want to configure and follow the instructions for your chosen authentication method.

Once connected, verify that the proxy IP address and location are correct before starting your tasks.

**Note:** Before configuring your proxy, make sure you have selected the correct plan and confirmed its validity period.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://doc.sk5data.com/unlimited-residential-bandwidth/quick-start.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
